This year, the program covered illegal downloading and other dangers related to internet use as well as legal issues concerning part-time jobs, including exploitative part-time jobs, which have been gaining a lot of attention recently.

The attorneys also presented information about familiar legal issues, such as those related to the age of adulthood, contracts, and leasing and renting accommodation, as discussed last year, and worked with the students and workers at the facilities to deepen their understanding of these issues by giving quizzes and having participants find legal issues in short plays, and conducting team discussions.

The students who took part in the program conveyed feedback with comments such as, “Although I did not know much about law, I was able to learn about issues that I need to know in everyday life thanks to this program” and “I was able to learn about things that I did not understand before and gain new knowledge through this program.”
