Daisuke Tsuta received the “Cybersecurity Encouragement Award of the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications” for fiscal year 2024.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications grants the Encouragement Award to individuals and organizations that have made outstanding achievements in the field of cybersecurity responses. Two individuals and two organizations were selected for fiscal year 2024.

Summary of accomplishments:
While working on cybersecurity policies across the government, taking into account the perspective of organizations that have suffered cyber attacks, he has contributed to strengthening public-private partnerships in both legal practice and policy. He has also played an active role as a bridge between academia and legal practice in legal academic societies. All of this indicates that he has made substantial contributions to enhancing cybersecurity in Japan.
