On April 1, 2025, our Kochi office officially started operations as a branch office of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto LPC.
The office is led by Naosuke Ichikawa, a senior counsel with extensive experience in a wide range of corporate legal affairs, including guidance for shareholders’ and board of directors’ meetings, restructuring and rehabilitation, startup support, M&A, litigation and dispute resolution, and support for local governments. With the cooperation of our Takamatsu office, our Tokyo HQ and our other offices throughout Japan, we will closely collaborate on cross-border M&A and expansion into Asia, together with our offices in New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Jakarta, Yangon, and Manila, as well as our relationship law firms throughout the world.
