Tohru Motobayashi served as Chair and Harumichi Uchida served as one of the Vice-Chairs of the Host Committee for a conference called "International Competition Enforcement", which was held in Tokyo on April 20 and 21, 2005, for regulators, lawyers and other professionals in the area of competition, antiturust and trade law. This conference was presented by the International Bar Associations, in cooperation with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations.
