The FinanceAsia Japan Achievement Awards 2009 have been announced, and two deals in which the firm was engaged were awarded as follows:
- The Global Offering of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (total value: 12 billion USD) received BEST SECONDARY EQUITY OFFERING. The firm was engaged in this deal as legal counsel to the underwriter’s Japanese counsel.
- The TOB deal of Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. by Panasonic Corporation received BEST PRIVATE EQUITY DEAL. The firm was engaged in this deal as legal counsel to Sanyo Electric.
