The ‘DEALWATCH AWARDS’ 2009 have been announced by Thomson Reuters, and two deals in which the firm was engaged were awarded as follows:
- The Global Offering of Shares and Convertible Bonds of Hitachi, Ltd. (total value: JPY 100 billion), in which the firm was engaged as legal counsel to the issuer, received Equity-linked Bond Issuer of the Year in the Equity-linked Bond Deals category.
- The Offering of Shares of Common Stock of Toshiba (total value: approximately JPY 290 billion), in which the firm was engaged as legal counsel to the issuer, received Equity Deal of the Year in the Equity Deals category.
