Message from Ayako Okada
I am pleased to inform you that I have just joined Mori Hamada & Matsumoto after retiring from a financial institution.
I started my career as an attorney at Blakemore & Mitsuki in 2004, where I was involved in a broad range of legal services. After that, I started work at the legal & compliance department of Nikko City Trust Bank (currently: The Nomura Trust and Banking Co., Ltd.), and was involved in legal services and communication with authorities related to asset management services, with a focus on investment trusts. At Citibank Japan Ltd., I worked in the legal department and was involved in checking the legality of products for banking services, debt recovery, and dispute resolution.
Making use of my experience, I look forward to benefitting our clients while also developing my expertise in foreign investment trusts, REIT, and related fields.
