Thomson Reuters has announced the results of DEALWATCH AWARDS 2013, and four deals that the firm was engaged in received awards:
- The issuance of dollar-denominated bonds and euro-denominated bonds by SoftBank Corp., as to which the firm was engaged in as issuer's counsel, received Offshore Bond of the Year.
- The global offering of shares of common stock of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, as to which the firm acted as issuer's counsel, received Equity Deal of the Year.
- The IPO by CYBERDYNE Inc., which was the first IPO in Japan that adopted dual-class stock structure and in which the firm was engaged in as issuer's counsel, received IPO of the Year.
- The deal to list Hulic Reit, Inc. on The Tokyo Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Market, as to which the firm was engaged in as underwriter's counsel, received J-REIT of the Year.
