MHM ranked 10th in the FT Law 25 Asia-Pacific Headquartered Law Firms, and received high commendation for its work in corporate, commercial and finance law

The Financial Times published its third annual Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyers Report on 3 June 2016. Mori Hamada & Matsumoto was ranked 10th in the FT Law 25 list of Asia-Pacific Headquartered Law Firms, making it the only Japanese law firm to be ranked among the top 25 three years in a row. In the Report, we received commendations for our corporate, commercial and finance work in respect of two submissions, one of which was the global IPO by three Japan Post Group companies that ranked standout and another which was commended. Katsumasa Suzuki was also recognised in the Innovative Lawyers Report as one of the top 10 innovative individuals. He is the first Japanese lawyer to be included in the FTs shortlist.

The Financial Times Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyers report enters its third year in 2016. Having long been part of the legal landscape in Europe and North America, this report has now established itself as a trusted guide to the profession in Asia-Pacific.
