Message from Chiayin Chen
I am honored to be joining Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
After passing the Taiwan Bar Examination, I worked in the Japan Practice Department of Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law in Taiwan for about three years, where I worked on a variety of matters, such as M&A for global companies, legal compliance, general corporate legal matters, and investment in and development of renewable energy businesses by foreign companies. In 2021, I entered the Graduate Schools for Law and Politics at the University of Tokyo and primarily studied law related to the Companies Act and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. I am now joining Mori Hamada & Matsumoto upon completing my Master’s course.
I look forward to leveraging my experience to date and will strive to further hone my professional expertise to support the firm’s clients.
