    In the area of financial regulation and Fintech, Takanori conducts legal reviews and obtain permits and approvals for the development of new services in a wide range of areas, including banking, securities, insurance, payments (e-money, credit cards, platforms, etc.), remittances, loans, crypto assets, and financial service intermediary business (agency and Embedded Finance), Takanori has extensive experience in legal review of new service development, acquisition of licenses and approvals, compliance with authorities (e.g., reporting requirements, response to business improvement orders), fraud investigations, AML/CFT compliance, and personal information protection.
    In particular, in the area of financial service intermediary business (banking, securities, and insurance agencies), Takanori is particularly strong in providing practical legal services from the viewpoint of regulators based on our practical experience in both legislation and supervision at the Financial Services Agency, as well as our extensive experience.
    With six and a half years of experience working for an insurance company and two secondments to the Financial Services Agency, Takanori's motto is to provide legal services that are practical and easy to understand.
