Message from Mr. Koji Tomita
I am honored to serve as an adviser to Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
I joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1981 and served as Director-General of the North American Affairs Bureau, Ambassador to the State of Israel, Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea, and Ambassador to the United States of America before retiring from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the end of last year.
The international environment surrounding Japan is becoming more and more complex, and it is becoming increasingly important to take geopolitical factors into account when making decisions, not only at the government level but also for private businesses.
Although I am new to the legal practice, I look forward to serving our clients with the knowledge and expertise I have acquired during my career as a diplomat.
May 2024
Koji Tomita, Adviser
