Allan Christopher Chu

Allan’s practice focuses on technology, media and telecommunications, financial technology – FinTech, information and communications technology, labor relations and employment, data privacy, intellectual property, and banking and finance. Allan has advised and represented domestic and international clients engaged in business process outsourcing, software and platform service providers, e-commerce, technology solution provider, financial services, gaming, payment systems, virtual currency business, banking and finance.

He was Director of Legal and Compliance for a FinTech company (a mobile lending platform operator), and a financing company. During his tenure, he drove the development of the privacy framework for both companies. He worked hand-in-hand with senior management on the development, design and structuring of innovative financial products and services that achieve business objective while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
