Introduction
Tomo Adachi has extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, particularly in project development, project finance, M&A, and product sale & purchase contracts. Specifically, he has a proven track record with foreign and Japanese firms in oil and gas/LNG projects (upstream farm-in/farm-out, JOA, and products SPA), renewable energy projects, and FPSO projects (development, financing and O&M).

In the past two years, he was seconded to the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, where he was directly involved in the policy formation and implementation as a lead of the secretariat for the council working towards the enactment of the "Hydrogen Society Promotion Act." Additionally, he served as the co-vice chair of the IPHE (International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy), enhancing international cooperation on hydrogen deployment. Through negotiations with foreign governments and companies, he has also gained a deep understanding of the global trends in the hydrogen and ammonia industries.
