Our firm represented HD Renewable Energy as sponsor in its financing of JPY 5.4bil by issuance of project bond backed by the merchant-based BESS project (50MW) developed in Sapporo-city, Hokkaido (asset-backed trust beneficial interests arranged by Nomura).
This is the first-ever project bond arranged by a major securities company for BESS project, which has made an epoch-making benchmark in Japanese market.
